Emil Sommerfeldt was born 1983 in Stavanger Norway. He graduated from Falmouth College of Arts in south England in 2006 with a BA(hons) in illustration. He worked as a freelance illustrator for numerous Norwegian clients, and moved to Berlin in 2008. In 2014 he graduated from Universität der Künste in Berlin with an MA in Visuelle Kommunikation. In late 2015 he founded JungFeldt in Berlin with Young Sam Kim whom he met while studying at UdK. For his illustrations he has recieved several distinctions.
